How often do you get to hear music and then have a high-energy conversation about its role in historical traditions? In this interactive session, Matt Backes explores the origins and history of American fiddle music. Dr Backes is a professor of American Studies at Rutgers University, and a member of the Magnolia Street String Band. This program is made possible by a grant from the NJ Council for the Humanities.
Friday, September 21 @ 7:00 p.m. Please enroll online.
