What Do I Need to Know?
On June 13, 2024, LMxAC will launch a brand new library catalog with its member libraries!
Between June 3 and June 12 we will need to run a temporary offline system while we upgrade.
During This Time
- You won’t be able to place hold requests – but any existing holds will move over to the new system.
- You won’t be able to pay fines or fees, sign up for a new library card, etc.
- You will be able to check out materials in person at all member libraries.
- Items cannot be checked in and taken off your account. No items will be due between June 1 and June 20, and we request that you hold on to items during this time!
- You can still use hoopla and Libby for borrowing electronic materials (eBooks, eAudiobooks, and more).
- LMxPress Plus will still be usable to display your library barcode for checking out items, and will automatically upgrade to a new version on or about June 13th.
Do I need a New Library Card?
No, your existing library card will work just fine in the new system!
What Improvements Can I Expect?
- When viewing details about a book in a series, you’ll easily be able to find other books in that series!
- Clicking an author’s name anywhere in the catalog shows an author bio, other titles by the author, and more!
- Select your desired format directly from search results! Find formats such as Book, Large Print, or eBook easily.
- Save your searches for easy discovery of what interests you, collected along with your checkouts and holds.
